I had the enchiladas and they were pretty tasty. They didn't have rice ready but the chef gave me double beans for no cost. I'll certainly be back.

¡Tan bueno! Es barato, rapido y tastey. How can you say no? As I said en espanol, its cheap, fast & tastey; they have street (soft) tacos & American (deep-fried) tacos but if you are from Cali it may seem expensive. My boyfriend got the carne asada fries (yellow paper). I got the shredded beef sopes con lechuga (lettuce), queso, y frijoles (beans). During these COVID & before COVID times, it was clean. They would clean the table. If you were sitting there before they cleaned it, they would say kindly ask/tell you they were gonna clean it! :) We got it to go & it was still yummy! You can't beat Papa Chevo's! From great daily specials to the staple Chorizo Breakfadt Burrito, you will find something that hit the spot. Great for a late evening meal, enjoy the patio with some Horchata.

The fact this place does not have a line outside the door and around the block amazes me this has got to be hands down the best Mexican food in all of Phoenix possibly even Arizona and on par with Southern California and TJ I have found my go to for authentic Mexican dining there was not a single thing that was lacking everything that was served was 100% on point

Not sure why the bad reviews - we thought this place was terrific ! The crisp ground beef tacos were on point, enchiladas fantastic and the service was A-1 !

Stopped by while on a break for a quick bite. A friend told me it was really good. I ordered the chicken enchiladas. I love chicken enchiladas! Great food!

Here visiting from California , and its very hard to find a good Mexican restaurant that serves good food . So i decided to give this place a try and and yess this was a good choice. Not that expensive for what i ordered . Thank you to the young girl that took our order. If ever in this area while im back out here , i will be ordering again.
